I use Epson UltraChrome™ UltraChrome K3™ pigment inks, that produce archival prints with amazing color fidelity.
Prints are made using Epson’s new family of archival inkjet printers. The combination of the pigment inks and archival papers ensure a print that will last for generations,
and then further protect the image with several coats of_ PremierArt™ Print Shield.

Epson UltraChrome K3™ inks and PremierArt™ Print Shield have been independently tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research, the de-facto leader in imaging technology research. Epson UltraChrome™ inks are pigment-based and offer the highest degree of print permanence and image quality when used in conjuction with quality fine art papers. Testing has proven Display Permanence Ratings of Ultrachrome ink prints on fine art papers at 110-180 years or more when framed under UV Plexiglas.

PremierArt™ Print Shield has been proven to significantly increase (and sometimes double!) the longevity of images printed on digital fine art papers. It also helps protect the print from airborne pollutants, water & moisture, light, and even fingerprints.

While the durability of these prints is excellent, it is highly recommended that the prints be framed using UV protected Plexiglas, if the area in which the image will be displayed receives direct sunlight.

Taking Care of that Limited Edition Print

Conservation or preservation framing is a method of picture framing that preserves and protects artwork.
